About this Webinar
In 2023, MNOSHA brought several legislative changes and initiatives, leaving us with many questions about how the changes will impact different industries. Join Aaron Dean, P.A., a top-rated construction law attorney, as he discusses these changes and shares how contractors can mitigate the negative impacts brought about by the implementation of these changes.
IN THIS FREE WEBINAR We WILL Discuss:
- MNOSHA fines doubling, now tracking with Federal OSHA’s fine schedule.
- MNOSHA change regarding the right to interview employees without an employer’s representative present, potentially increasing employer liability.
- MNOSHA change regarding the right to interview employees without an employer’s representative present, potentially increasing employer liability.
- The National Emphasis Program (NEP) based around heat hazards establishes “heat priority days” where an employer has an increased responsibility to protect workers from heat hazards.
- The proposed Federal OSHA rule to allow union representatives or grassroots organizers to accompany government inspectors on walk-around inspections of job sites.
- MNOSHA provisions that go above and beyond Federal OSHA’s requirements.
- Continuous reports of anonymous complaints seeming to target merit shop contractors.
