The Speakers

Connie Van Raalte
Human Resources/ Training Lead
Connie spent the last 15 years in onsite human resources and safety management, ensuring the safety and health of individuals in general industry throughout the Mankato, Minnesota, area. She is responsible for managing the OECS Specialized Training Center (STC), offering a variety of in-person and virtual safety classes. She is passionate about helping clients develop and sustain positive work cultures. Connie has her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Human Resource Management from Minnesota State University and also has her Professional Human Resources (PHR) Accreditation.

Brian Lauwers, CHST
Regional Manager
Brian is a Regional Manager for the Dakotas Region. Prior to joining OECS, Brian spent over 20 years in the construction industry, including 12 years working for a general contractor and 9 years as a senior project manager for a commercial roofing company. Brian is OSHA 10 certified in both general industry and construction. He is also OSHA 30 certified.
