The Speakers

Julie Thatcher
Julie joined the OECS team in 2023 as a Field Safety Associate specializing in general industry for the Twin Cities Region, serving clients in Southern Minnesota. She brings more than 20 years of experience as an environmental health and safety professional, with extensive risk management experience in the manufacturing, construction, and retail/wholesale industries.

Dave Ferkul, CIH, CSP
Dave Ferkul is an Industrial Hygienist for the Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin Region. Dave leads IH and Environmental Services for OECS. Most of his 35 years of experience was with MNOSHA Workplace Safety Consultation, holding multiple consultant positions servicing the public sector, general industry, and construction.
